As part of our ethos, all of our shareholders are respected high-quality macadamia farmers.To fulfill our vision of "Being the preferred supplier of Macadamia Products", we operate a vertically integrated Macadamia supply chain which enables Golden Macadamias to control every aspect that impacts on the quality and supply reliability from our products' origin on the farm right up to our final customer. During farming, we ensure that eco-friendly cultivation takes place. We promote the use of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) reducing the use of chemical pesticides. We are committed to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and all our farmers are Global Gap accredited. Quality is at the heart of our cultivation and production processes.Our main customers are amongst the largest nut processors and users in the world with the majority situated in Northern America, Europe and the East, making us one of Africa's most successful nut exporters.We are situated in Mpumalanga, one of the nine provinces of South Africa, near the world famous Kruger National Park.Our state-of-the art production facility is surrounded by a wildlife paradise of more than 25 private game reserves, covering an area of more than 2.5 million hectares.With a perfect climate and fertile soil, the farmlands of Mpumalanga yield some of the finest quality macadamia crops in the world.The shareholder-farmers of Golden Macadamias continue to develop their orchards and it is this ongoing expansion which ensures that Golden Macadamias is able to meet its customer volume needs with future volumes set for near-exponential growth.To deliver the finest possible quality to our customers, we are led by a dedicated, highly qualified and efficient management team.
