The company was officially registered in 2006 as Echopulse Productions but started trading in 2008 after being renamed THE TZAR MUSIC. The purpose was to operate as a recording studio and helping local talent achieve their dreams; that vision changed in 2009 when THE TZAR MUSIC launched as a label. We have helped, mentored and recorded young and emerging talent such as Masello, Smug, Static Q to name a few who have since worked and featured on various artists'/producers' projects in South Africa. The music industry has changed over the years and we have also moved with the times and as a result have decided to incorporate services such as digital distribution, artwork design, mastering and music publishing.
