  Gemmer is a traditional ethnic beverage which owes its early origins to the nation of Botswana and the Tswana people. Gemmer has a unique and truly magnificent ginger flavour coupled with sensational sweetness, that has created a beverage that when served cold, creates a unique pleasant "after-burn" which cools down your body on a hot summer day or warms you up when served warm. Traditionally, in order make a true GEMMER, takes at least 32 to 48 hours and as such has traditionally been made by ordained designated elders who have been passing on their recipe's to their children, but due to the demands of modern day life, most people simply do not have the time to make it, especially in the volumes that are commanded for family and social events.
